Standard & Poor's (S&P) has affirmed its 'AA+' long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Guernsey-based Jupiter, the wholly owned captive insurer of UK-based oil major BP.
The outlook is stable.
"The ratings on Jupiter are based on its status as the captive insurer of BP," said S&P's credit analyst Matthew Day.
