SBJ Group makes major regional acquisition.
SG Ingram, a Harrogate-based broker, has been acquired by SBJ Group for an undisclosed sum.
SBJ Group will amalgamate SG Ingram's 35 employees into its SBJ Benefits Consultants employee benefits consulting business.
George Boden, SBJ Group chief executive, said: “The acquisition of SG Ingram will extend the group's geographical coverage of the employee benefits market by providing it with a presence in the North East of England for the first time. Following its organic and acquisitional growth over recent years, SBJ Benefit Consultants is now one of the most important competitors in this market.”
