Technology company Sense Internet is to launch CertSure, a product that allows online insurance certification.

The product, to be launched next week, will be sold to insurers and brokers.

CertSure enables cover notes and certificates to be printed direct from websites. It receives the relevant insurance details from a server and then produces a unique signature that the server uses to match up with the data.

"CertSure is based on the premise that cover notes and certificates must not be forgeable," said Sense Internet chief executive Aidan Cook. He said it enables instant turnaround.
