Insurance technology provider, Sirius Financial Systems, has announced the sale of its Sirius for Underwriting software to the Insurance Corporation of Barbados Limited (ICBL).

This marks the fifth sale of a Sirius system in the
Caribbean region.

Sirius regional sales manager, Andy Wright said: "We have had a strong presence in the Caribbean for many years, providing software to insurance companies and to brokers. Now, our new Sirius software is being extremely well received and we have made the strategic decision to direct yet more resources to our operation here. We are determined to become the leading software vendor in the Caribbean and are already well on the way."

ICBL selected Sirius for Underwriting after reviewing and evaluating software from eight international suppliers.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
