Policy Master Group took to the road last month to promote Sirius, its new broking software.
The Sirius sales and marketing team hosted ten roadshows in England and Scotland throughout August. Delegates from 401 companies attended the roadshows and 112 companies asked for information to be sent to them directly.
Two-thirds of those attending the roadshows were users of competitors' software, confirming Policy Master's belief that there is scope for new technology in the UK intermediary market.
Orders totalling £1.3m from 21 organisations had been received by the end of August.
The company said that the usual sales cycle of weeks, if not months, for broking software had been turned on its head as customers signed up on the spot at the roadshows.
