Property insurers will be reporting good figures on low claims

Analysts say the mild hurricane season will boost results for AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Chubb, Travelers and Allstate, Bloomberg reports.

“The insurance companies are going to have just phenomenally good earnings this quarter because of the lack of hurricanes,” said Michael Paisan, an analyst at Stifel Nicolaus. This will boost the financial markets

Paisan said companies with the greatest reliance on property coverage will benefit the most from the decline in disasters, including Allstate, Travelers and Chubb.
