Standard Life Healthcare has announced a 2.5% increase in its renewal commission rate for company community rates and low claims frequency business.
The increase will take effect for company schemes renewing on or after 16 July 2002 and sets the commission rate at 7.5%.
Standard Life Healthcare has also introduced a number of new 0845 local telephone numbers, which enable intermediaries and their customers to contact the company from anywhere in the UK for the price of a local call.
Standard Life Healthcare's national intermediary sales manager Claire Ginnelly said: "We are always looking for ways to further demonstrate our commitment to intermediaries and their clients. The increase in the renewal commission rate is an incentive that we think will be most welcome, along with the practical advantages of the 0845 numbers."
