Swiss Re has announced an internal restructure.

It said it would restructure into three business functions: client markets, products and financial services.

The client market function, led by Jacques Aigrain, has been divided into four groups: Americas, Europe, Asia and globals and large risks.

Swiss Re said these divisions would concentrate on company growth, client needs, market trends and promoting product solutions across distribution and point of sales.

The products function, headed by Stefan Lippe, will be in three units: property and speciality, casualty, and life and health.

The financial services function, headed by John Fitzpatrick, will retain its units of credit solution, capital management and advisory, and asset management.

Each new function is led by a member of Swiss Re's executive board committee.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
