Network searching for successor to David Pearce

Ten Insurance non-executive chairman David Pearce has retired from the broker network.

Non-executive director Gordon Coles will assume the role of chairman until a successor to Pearce is appointed.

Ten managing director Malcolm Lee (pictured) said: “David has been a valued member of our board since 2005.

“His industry knowledge and expertise as well as sound common sense has undoubtedly helped us stay focused on who we are as a business and what we are trying to achieve. We sincerely thank him for his outstanding contribution to Ten and its members over the last few years.”

Lee said the company expects to appoint a replacement non-executive director and new chairman “within the next few weeks”.
