The TEn Insurance Services broker network has joined BIBA and the IIB.

All TEn members have automatic free membership of both trade bodies. TEn has around 50 broker members.

TEn business development director James Sharp said: "We are demonstrating our support to our brokers by signing up all of our membership in one hit. It's been met extremely positively by our membership."

The network has also started a scheme to speed up new business trading for its members.

TEn brokers can now go directly to selected insurers rather than going through the network first. TEn has the deal with Aviva, Brit Insurance, Ecclesiastical, NIG and Sterling.

Administration can be handled by TEn if the broker chooses. TEn also has an in-house Aviva underwriter to speed up trading.
