Broking and risk management group THB has appointed three new directors to its board.

Frank Murphy has been made managing director of Lloyd's broker Thompson Heath & Bond, the largest operating unit within the THB group.

Murphy joined THB in 1999 from the role of director at Arthur J Gallagher.

Paul Dudley has been named chief executive for provincial retail operations. He will have responsibility for the group's provincial retail and financial services operations in Leamington, Nottingham, Leeds and Glasgow.

Dudley was joint managing director of TL Clowes when it was acquired by THB in 2001.

Corrine Hepworth has been made group human resources director. She joined THB in 2000 from Drake Insurance.

THB said the appointments formed part of its restructuring programme.

THB founder and chairman Vic Thompson, said: “We have continued to grow both organically and through acquisition and as a result of our development, I am delighted to welcome all three directors to the plc board.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
