Existential crisis is an unlikely topic for a press release from the RAC, but when its PR company sent Backchat a document headed “Young female motorists most at risk of being”, you have to wonder.
A missing word seemed the more believable explanation. But at risk of being what? Abducted by aliens? Chatted up by male motorists?
The actual story was disappointingly mundane, warning that women drivers are most at risk of being stranded this winter. So, annoying, but not half as likely to cause psychological panic.
