South Essex Insurance Brokers has signed a new contract with Misys following an IT review.
The company, one of the UK's top 100 brokers, concentrates on equine insurance. It will use a combination of Misys' Brooms back-office and specialist software to cater for schemes.
Barry Fehler, managing director, South Essex Insurance Brokers, said: "Over the past five years our GWP has grown by as much as 50% and we have been able to reduce our headcount from 72 to 60. This is because, in part, of our full use of the Misys technology in optimising the efficiency of our business processing.
"We are planning to introduce a new household scheme with Misys and intend to grow our online facilities."
