Richard Harrison joins Travelers from Chubb

Travelers Insurance Company has appointed Richard Harrison as senior risk manager for the UK and Ireland.

Harrison joins from Chubb Insurance, where he was loss control manager for Chubb’s London branch. Harrison will report to Travelers general manager, commercial, Mick Husband.

Harrison will lead a team of 18 staff including risk control consultants and technical employees.

Husband said: “Richard’s an extremely experienced risk control professional and a talented leader. We’re thrilled to have him as part of the Travelers team.”

 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
