The Ferma forum will be told risk managers should become more involved in multinational pooling of employee benefits.

Lars Andersen of Grundfos will explain the basics of multinational pooling, where the funds for pooling come from and the involvement of captives.

He says more companies were becoming interested in the different risks that influence their daily business.

“Risk managers should get involved in all the risks related to employees and ask how they can optimise employee benefits,” Andersen says.

“Risk is risk and the risk manager should be more interested in life, disability, medical and pension insurance – both the company and the risk manager will benefit as a result.”
