Ifa trading platform Assureweb is to offer competitive quotes for Scottish Widows' term life products.
The internet portal, which has 15,000 IFA users, will also provide access to Scottish Widows literature, including forms.
Ian Lockhart, head of e-commerce at Scottish Widows, said the deal represented the first of several core services that Scottish Widows will be delivering to IFAs through Assureweb in the coming months. It means Assureweb offers users access to 98% of the term assurance market sold via IFAs.
