Fraser Pratt and Dean Perkin join London office

Willis has hired two former Aon executives to its property investors division (PID).

Fraser Pratt has joined as a business development executive, and Dean Perkin will assume the role of Director on November 14.

Both will be based in London and report to Ian Kennett, PID’s director of sales.

Pratt and Perkin will service clients who require legal indemnity insurance, with a particular focus on rights of light indemnity. Rights of light insurance policies protect developers and constructors from the risk of a possible future claim if a new development cuts off a neighbour’s natural light.

Pratt joins Willis from a three-year stint at Aon, where he was a development executive specifically focused on rights of light insurance. Perkin will also join from Aon, where he serves as associate director in Aon Limited’s affinity division.

“We are delighted to welcome Fraser and Dean to the team. Their unique experience and expertise will enhance our existing service offering to owners and developers and demonstrates our commitment to the sector and the desire to continually differentiate ourselves,” said PID chief executive John Dilley in a statement.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
