Windsor has made three appointments and a promotion across its energy, North American and professional indemnity (PI) divisions.

Heath Jose has been promoted from senior broker to a partner of Lloyd's broking group, and will head up the Australian casualty unit within Windsor's energy division.

Tom Close-Smith, previously Price Forbes North American division director, has joined Windsor as a strategic advisor to its North American arm. This division focuses on placing binding authorities for US coverholders. Close-Smith will help develop Windsor's strategy in the US and Canada.

Windsor chief executive John Bennett said: "This reflects our chosen strategy of growing organically whilst augmenting this approach with the hiring of key individuals who are experts in their respective fields."

Windsor has also appointed Daniel Kelly and Umesh Puri as account executives in its PI division, headed up by Windsor director Simon Lakey. Kelly and Puri were previously at Lockton.

Lakey said: "We are delighted to welcome these two proven operators to our team. They come from a leading international firm, and will be focusing on developing our existing client base and opportunities we can present by virtue of our strong presence in UK financial services."
