Henderson Insurance Brokers has appointed Paul Brookbanks as Manchester branch director

The appointment came as Henderson announced plans to expand its Manchester operation. Brookbanks was previously at Jelf.

Henderson chief executive Joe Henderson said: “Paul has joined us, and I like people who stick their necks out and say: ‘Yes, I’ll give it a go.’ He’s very enterprising.”

Speaking to an insurer audience in Manchester, Brookbanks said: “Our focus is going to be development. We’ve got a really good team, and I think we can build on it.

“From my point of view, back broking. Let’s get trading.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
