Business outsourcing specialist WNS Holdings has bought Town & Country Assistance for an undisclosed amount.

Town & Country will continue to operate under its brand name from its offices in Ipswich.

Theodore Agnew, the company's chief executive, will continue at Town & Country as he has been appointed to the WNS management committee.

Agnew commented: "This acquisition adds significantly to our resources and gives us many times the capacity and investment to handle larger contracts from both our existing and prospective clients.

"This gives us far greater scope to win a wider range of large scale insurance and commercial fleet business — thereby capitalising on the growing trend towards outsourcing."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
