Zurich offers account executives across personal and commercial lines to its broker members.
Zurich has launched its new Broker Alliance programme.
As reported by Insurance Times on 7 December, the insurer is offering broker members a single account executive who will deal with both personal and commercial lines.
The bespoke, modular programme covers four key areas: financial, service, access and support.
Zurich's newly appointed managing director, broker, David Smith, commented: “The new programme recognises individual broker aspirations and views their account in the round. A broker may have significant market share or they may be small but have significant market potential and are looking to grow. We have the flexibility to work with their different aspirations to develop their business in a way that suits them. This will widen both Zurich's footprint in the market and the broker's access to Zurich's expertise, with an attractive proposition tailored to the broker's business.
“We have listened and responded to the consistent and primary needs of the broker market — ‘Give us a single contact point to make it easy for us to understand your business, enhance direct access to expert underwriters and service, and treat us as one business across commercial and personal lines'.
“We'll be working hard in 2007 to deliver these three fundamentals so we can grow our businesses together.”
Sitting outside the Alliance programme will be Zurich's key accounts. These will be managed on a bespoke basis and serviced by a senior manager and key account manager.
As part of a roll out programme account executives will be visiting brokers throughout January to present details of the Broker Alliance programme packages in full.
