History: On 31 March 2003, Able Brokers Ltd acquired 100% of the share capital of HSBC Select (UK) Ltd from HSBC Bank plc and simultaneously re-named the company The OutRight Company UK Ltd. HSBC Select comprised two insurance broking call centre operations based in Newport, South Wales and Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
OutRight is based at the Stoke site. The company provides branded consumer insurance services for a varied corporate and broker client base alongside its own brand, direct broking operation Auto Direct Insurance Services.

Biography: Prior to the formation of OutRight, Bob Bright was a main board director of HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd.
Bright had been with HSBC for 25 years before leading the buyout of the company. Married with two sons, Bright and his wife live in Buckinghamshire.
