A survey of Airmic members has found they are experiencing much improved broker transparency.

According to a survey published at the association’s annual conference this week, 38% described the willingness of their brokers to disclose their remuneration as excellent, 36% as good and just 6% as poor.

Airmic chairman Colin Campbell said: “We still have some way to go until we get the total broker transparency we desire, but this survey demonstrates how much the situation has been transformed over the past few years, at least among the buyers that we represent.”

Among the concerns of Airmic members, identified in the survey, the issues emerging most rapidly are: business continuity planning; environmental exposures; reputation; and contractor exposures.
