The Association of Local Authority Risk Managers (ALARM) is holding a seminar next month on risk management - to show how it can help the public sector deliver optimum services.

'Risk Management in Action' will form part of the spring season of training events being staged by ALARM.

Chief executive Sheila Boyce commented: "From the importance of good business continuity planning, to strategies for managing reputational risk, this seminar will provide delegates with a detailed perspective on how preventative strategies can ensure we deliver public services to best effect."

The seminar will be held on 2 May in Coventry.
