Emmanuel Nivet has moved from AXA Corporate Solutions in France to take up the position of chief executive of AXA Corporate Solutions in the UK. He succeeds Franz Régimbeau, who has moved on to a new role with AXA Assistance in France.
Nivet began his insurance career with Groupe Victoire as a loss prevention engineer, later moving to property underwriting. In 1991 he joined Uni-Europe, part of the AXA Group, as property underwriter. Four years later he went to AXA Global Risks, being responsible for international property underwriting. In 1997, within the AXA/UAP merger, he took charge of managing the underwriting of large French property risks for AXA Global Risks.
Since then he has worked for AXA Corporate Solutions, based in Paris, and since 2004 has headed the casualty section as business director, embracing liability, financial lines and motor.
