Insurer AXA UK is to create two new main board positions, a customer service director and a marketing development director, as part of its plans for more customer focus.

Axa is also looking for a new IT director following the recent retirement of Phil Judkins.

AXA chief executive Peter Hubbard said: "The customer service and marketing functions are key areas of the business where we will concentrate our efforts.

"I believe these functions are a prerequisite for creating a customer focused organisation and delivering customer service excellence."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
