Biba said it had strengthened its members services teams with the appointment of Steve White as regulation and compliance manager.
White, who joins Biba from the FSA, will head up the new broker compliance facility, said Biba. He will work with compliance consultant Branko Bjelobaba and RWA.
While at the FSA, White worked in the general insurance team in the policy and technical services department within the high street firms division. Before joining the FSA, White worked at GISC, AXA Insurance and Orion Insurance.
The appointment forms part of Eric Galbraith’s push to strengthen Biba’s range of compliance and regulation services for brokers, it said.
