More than 2,700 brokers have signed up for the BrokerASSESS training assessment programme to prepare their business for regulation, said Biba.
It said by using online training and competence assessment system BrokerASSESS, brokers were receiving the best possible support in preparing for FSA compliance.
BrokerASSESS was developed by Biba and the CII, and designed in partnership with Robin Wood Associates.
It is a training tool designed to help brokers meet the regulatory standards set by the FSA. It is designed to take a risk management approach to assessment, based on recent case law as well as current market practices.
