The Creditors of Independent Insurance Group (CIIG) has had its best week ever in the run up to its group litigation order.
CIIG chairman Kevin Young revealed that the group was close to lodging the order at the High Court at the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) conference.
He said the response to his appearance on Insurance Times' Biba TV and in the Conference Times was outstanding.
"The publicity had a big effect; this has been one of our most positive weeks," he said.
"We've had some people with multi-million pound claims contact us for discussions.
"I think brokers have decided that it's time to do something about this."
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
