Twickenham-based broker Sutton Wilson has sent conciliatory letters to customers urging them to have patience with CGU.
The letter reads: "Unfortunately CGU are currently experiencing some difficulties, which they are sure will be resolved during the next few months.
"However, if you encounter any of these problems in your dealings with CGU, please do not hesitate to contact us."
The letter was sent to a CGU Planet policyholder. This means Sutton Wilson allows CGU to underwrite the policies direct, without seeking other quotes.
