Towergate-owned Broker Network has launched an etrade household product underwritten by AXA for its members on Acturis and Open GI.

The network is also planning to launch an AXA mini fleet product and four Ageas SME products on Acturis.

Following the launch of its etrade offering in August 2015, Towergate now has 40 products that are exclusively available to network members.

The Network has worked closely with its panel insurers to develop the products, which offer policy enhancements and special pricing rates for Broker Network members.

AXA says it is developing more products for the eTrade platform.

AXA head of regional broker development Carol Hughes said: “The recent launch of AXA Household Extra with Broker Network members is the latest development in this strategy and we are very pleased that it appears to have been welcomed by members.”

Broker Network insurer relations director Dan McNally added: “Members have responded brilliantly to the Broker Network eTrade offering. The team have developed a superb range of products, creating a strong base from which eTrade can grow.

“The future is bright for eTrade as increasing numbers of insurers broaden their offerings, and we will seize the opportunity to continue to extend the portfolio and provide our members with exclusive products.”
