Broker Network has strengthened its team with four new hires.

Adam Thomson has joined the Towergate-owned network as product development director – schemes. He will focus on delivering new exclusive schemes for network members and will also help members grow and develop their own schemes.

He previously worked for OAMPS and AIG.

Broker network has also hired three broker development managers (BDMs) for its Advantage and Countrywide propositions.

Julie Branton, who joins from Ecclesiastical and Greg Sands, who joins from Lloyd’s broker Citynet Insurance, will focus purely on Advantage members.

Chris Buchholz, who was previously at Prism Network, will look after a panel of Countrywide members.

Advantage is Broker Network’s mid-tier offering, while Countrywide gives members an access to a series of products.

Broker Network sales and marketing director Richard Pitt said: “We are committed to strengthening our exclusive product capabilities to complement the already varied partner insurer products on offer to our members.

“Adam’s core focus will be bringing these bespoke schemes to market, helping our members to grow their business.”

He added: “Our new field-based BDMs all have significant experience within the industry and will act as a critical and trusted friend to their members. Their focus is to assist with added-value products and services to help regional independent brokers achieve their ambitions.”
