Former CII director joins Capita insurance
Capita Insurance has lured Peter Knowles away from Covéa to head up relationships with its partner insurers, Insurance Times has learnt.
Knowles who was previously head of commercial distribution at Covéa started in his new role for Capita on Monday.
The former Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) director brings a wealth of experience to the role. Before joining Covéa, he was head of UK development at MMA with responsibility for developing broker relations and oversaw the business development team.
Knowles has about 25 years of insurance industry experience and was previously market director for general insurance at the CII. He also worked for Polaris and Aviva.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
