The Motoring Uninsured Loss Recoveries Association (MULRA) has confirmed its commitment to change.

Tesco Personal Finance (TPF) is offering its online customers an incentive to back England's World Cup bid.

The first 30,000 customers to buy a motor or home insurance policy between 22 April and 31 May will get £50 returned if England win the trophy.

And for those who buy both the motor and home insurance online could, the company said, receive £100 back. The refund represents 25% of the average home policy, and 10% of the average motor insurance policy.

TPF's marketing director, Andy Dewhurst, said: "We wanted to show our support for the England football team and create a real wave of support, even with those who are not football fans."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
