Andy Holmes to build new products for CFC

Specialist lines underwriting agency CFC has appointed Andy Holmes as underwriting director.

CFC’s managing director, David Walsh said: “Product development and innovation is our core skill, and we have developed an expertise in creating blended packages that allow brokers to select the most appropriate range of cover for their clients.

"We have every intention to grow our business aggressively over the next 24 months, and ensuring CFC continues to provide a range of quality products that are competitively priced is an essential component of our strategy. Andy has spearheaded the efforts of our talented team of underwriters for some time now, and so I’m delighted to appoint him to this new role.”

Holmes joined CFC in 2003 at a time when its primary focus was on writing cyber liability and professional indemnity lines of business. Since then, the company has extended its existing lines of business and expanded into new areas

Holmes said: “Our underwriting team has built a reputation for continuous innovation, intelligent underwriting and a strong service ethic. These principles have been fundamental to the strong performances that CFC has reported year on year.
