Chris Giles has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
Director of International Operations Joel Aronchick said: "We are extremely pleased to welcome Chris Giles back to Europe.
"His experience and proven success in Asia make him uniquely qualified to do this job.
"He has the knowledge and leadership abilities to continue to move the European operation ahead."
Giles was previously head of Chubb's Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore.
