Colemont Global Group has added its latest addition to its expanding global network with an operation in Spain.

Colemont Iberia SA Correduria de Reaseguros is a new reinsurance broker and opened on 1 July.

Surinder Beerh, chief executive officer of Colemont Global Group, said: “Spain is very much a strategic market for us, not just because of its size and potential growth, but it also serves as a natural bridge between the European and Latin-American insurance markets.

Sebastian Martinez has been appointed managing director of Colemont Iberia SA Correduria de Reaseguros and is joined by Santiago Cantera and Francisco Femenia as local partners.

They have all worked together as a team and have experience both as insurers, reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
