A new liability insurance policy costing £15 aims to redress some of the confusion that may have been sown in the minds of consumers following the Dimond v. Lovell case on credit hire.

No fault accident provider 3 Arrows is marketing cover which provides a safety net for accident victims in the event that costs such as credit hire, credit repairs and legal expenses are not recoverable from the "at-fault" party's insurer.

"The product addresses the tactics of some insurers who actively dissuade their policyholders from going down the non-fault accident assistance route," said 3 Arrows managing director Jon Ralph.
