Crawford & Co has appointed Charlotte von Krogh to the new role of operations manager, CEMEA (Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa). Charlotte also joins Crawford's executive committee for the EMEA region.

Charlotte will be responsible for spreading operational best practice across CEMEA and coordinating service delivery in a market which increasingly looks for co-ordinated international solutions.

Commenting on her appointment, Ian V Muress, chief executive for Europe, Middle East & Africa said: “Charlotte has an exceptional track record of success and this is a well-deserved appointment. We look forward to her growing contribution as we continue to develop the region.”

Country Managers throughout CEMEA will now report directly to Charlotte as part of what Ian Muress describes as “the new cohesive environment between national business units in CEMEA.”

Charlotte began her career with Crawford in 1993, working initially as a loss adjuster for accidental and industrial injury, then moving into financial control and general management/administration. In 1999, she was promoted to country manager for Norway where she has led significant business expansion, working closely with Crawford's offices in Sweden and Denmark.
