Crawford & Company has appointed Aquilo Motor Services to its motor inspection and repair panel for a minimum contract period of two years.

Clive Nicholls, chief executive, Aquilo, said: “It is particularly pleasing to have won this prestigious account as it is a reflection of the commitment and effort spent over the past 12 months in developing Aquilo Motor Services Limited through the recruitment of a number of key individuals with Fleet and Broker background and experience.”

Nick Smith, Crawford's UK supply chain strategy manager commented: “It was crucial that we selected a supplier that would not only act in partnership with Crawford Corporate Claims Solutions and other suppliers, but also engage a supplier with a proven commitment to investing in new processes and technology to benefit all parties involved in claims management.”

Aquilo Motor Services has previously invested in a bespoke and integrated IT system called ICE (Integrated Claims Environment) that drives the tasks required during the accident management process, supports the cost control process and provides accident damage data and images to Crawford and their clients via the internet.
