The former director general of MI5 played down the threat of cyber-terrorism.
Dame Stella Rimington, who retired from MI5 in 1996, said that cyber-terrorism was "too subtle" compared to violent means.
She said she believed terrorists would continue to focus on infrastructure, government and event targets in the future.
