Two Aon brokers have joined Howden's new Special Risks wholesale broking division.

Paul Dally will head the new division, which will specialise in small and medium-sized brokers. Anna Neocleous has also joined the team from Aon.

Tim Coles, chief executive of Howden, commented: “The Special Risks division will become central to our reach into broader insurance lines across the globe, and will allow us to provide our clients with even greater choice without compromising on service.

"While we remain a specialist in business critical insurance, Special Risks will enable us to provide brokers and their clients with insurance solutions for all their business needs from professional indemnity and directors' & officers' insurance to personal accident, travel, and life.

"This move has been driven, in part, by our overseas and UK broking clients who want to experience the same level of expertise and service for their more general business insurance needs as they have enjoyed from Howden supporting their liability needs. It's an exciting move for the business."
