Former Hibernian CEO, Bryan Jenkins, who joins DAS as a non-executive director.

DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company has announced the appointment of a new chairman and two new members to its board of directors, including former Hibernian CEO, Bryan Jenkins, who joins DAS as a non-executive director.

Rainer Huber (DAS Munich) has been appointed as the new chairman of the board to replace outgoing chairman Peter Wiegand (DAS Munich), who retires as of the 31st December.

The company has also appointed Paul Gibson (DAS director of finance) and the former Hibernian Group Ireland CEO, Bryan Jenkins, to the board following the retirement of non-executive director Martin Wren.

The company is delighted to be able to welcome Rainer, Paul and Bryan to the board of directors. They bring with them extensive experience and knowledge and will no doubt make significant contributions to our company’s strategic development.

“In particular, Bryan Jenkins’ experience and position within the European insurance industry and its lobbying group the CEA is extremely valuable.

Bryan said: “Having served on several Boards, both as a member and as CEO, I feel well positioned to grasp this strategic role with DAS. They are the market leader in legal expenses and, with their very exciting development plans, this is the right time to play a part in guiding the company through this period of growth.”
