Docucorp plans to launch a free service to help the industry meet the FSA's Treat Customers Fairly (TCF) standards.

The company said the service would enable firms to compare preparations for FSA inspections with industry best practice.

The company said that one of the most concerning aspects of the regulation was the uncertainty surrounding what firms should do to achieve a standard of fair treatment.

The service will offer a benchmarking study focused on the customer communication aspect of treating customers fairly.

Information gathered from research into the field will be used to launch “TCF communications health check” which, it said, would enable firms to take “practical steps” to meet FSA standards.
