Insurer AXA today announced several executive changes, following the group's decision to combines its personal and commercial line teams.
Ian Ormerod, who was previously area manager of AXA's Reading branch, has been appointed to head of distribution development and will replace incumbent Colin Calder after a six-month hand-over period.
Jillian Watt, who was previously AXA's finance manager, has been named head of distribution control and planning.
Distribution director Mark Cliff said: “Our new distribution leadership structure will help us develop a best in class sales and underwriting environment built around excellent relationship management skills and underpinned by market leading electronic trading capabilities.”
