?The curtain has come down on the football season, Manchester United were crowned Premiership champions, Chelsea won a cup double, and Matthew Hewitt, a broker with Elstree Insurance, was crowned as QBE Fantasy Football Manager of the Season.

Hewitt won the £50,000 prize after Chelsea striker Didier Drogba stepped up to score in the fifty seventh minute on the final Sunday of fixtures, beating his rivals by three points.

Hewitt’s The Ideal Toffeemen won the Fantasy League with 491 points, followed by Richard Hirst from Aon Professional Risks and his Forest Till I Die with 488 points. Adrian Kilgallon from QBE and his Listowel Celtic FC came third, also with 488 points.

Susan Cluskey from QBE in Dublin was the top woman in the league coming in sixth with her team Bailelobie.
