Cunningham Lindsey International's Brazil-based expatriate loss adjusting and engineering staff are preparing to go to La Paz.

The Bolivian capital has been severely damaged by flooding after the heaviest rainfall in 50 years. The current death toll is more than 65 people, with more than 100 injured.

Residents have reported bodies being found up to 30km away. Many buildings collapsed, subways flooded and streets were ripped up.

The downpour lasted only 50 minutes, but the positioning of the city in a crater meant that large areas of the city were flooded.
