FSA director of markets Gay Huey Evans will take over a chairman of the Joint Forum in January 2004. Evans will succeed José María Roldán.
The Joint Forum was set up in 1996 to look at areas of common interest in the banking, insurance and securities fields.
The Joint Forum, a group of technical experts, works under the umbrella of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
