Another survey has found that industry members believe FSA regulation will be costly, inadequate and ineffective.

The survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting said that only 2% of employers in the general insurance market think the regulations will reduce the chances of being sold inappropriate healthcare products.

A further 68% of the more than 800 people surveyed, said they did not understand the implications of the regulations and 23% do not think the new rules would have an impact.

The survey also said that 7% of employers expected product and service costs to increase as a direct or indirect result of compliance.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
