Giles chief executive Brendan McManus says ‘Oval is a great business’
Giles chief executive Brendan McManus has refused to rule out a consolidation of the consolidators.
Speaking in an interview in this week’s Insurance Times, when asked about a merger between the consolidators, he said a deal between the consolidators was ‘absolutely possible’ in the next 12-24 months.
“I think Oval is a great business and Philip Hodson is one of my favourite people. I love spending time with him,” McManus said.
“I think it’s absolutely possible that in the next 12-24 months, the consolidators will consolidate, but our plan is not predicated on that and we are not sat here twiddling our thumbs without that happening.”
